They are identical to what I am replacing except the end piece is to wide. My old ones are only as wide as where the top bevel ends. Do you have any others that would work. If not I will try to file off the bottom bevel
26-243 has a wider end piece than mine

I just bought tilt window latches 26-243 & 244

Looking at your old latch, it seems like there was a lip that has just worn down. I would first try the new top tilt latches before filing it down just in case.
