Hello,
I have several windows in my house with these balances. They seem to be sticking and the windows do not open or close smoothly. When trying to remove the window, often one balance will be in the frame where it should be, while the other is up and does not release correctly. Is there something I can do to make them work more smoothly?

Hi, thanks for posting! In order to identify the correct balance series for you, we will need to see detailed images of the top and bottom plastic attachments. If you can get those over to us we should have a better idea of your replacement. Thanks!

Perfect, thank you! Going back to your first question, you ask whether there's anything you can do to get your balances to work more smoothly. Try applying a silicone spray in the track to see if that helps its operation. You may also want to apply white grease to the springs themselves.
If all else fails, you'll probably need to replace your balances. It looks like you have a special kind that will have to be custom made. Thanks to your pictures, we have just about everything we need to get started. If you want to consider an order, just let me know how many you need and we can get started.
