26-387 vent lock kit to work on sliding window?

Question

Do these work with sliding windows (left to right) instead of up and down windows?  And would I need one kit per slider?  We have two sliders on one large living room window, opposite sides.

Yes, the 26-387 can work on both sliding and hung windows. You would need one kit per sash.
