26 4 Caldwell KM window balance

The metal part is 27" long
width 9/16"
the balance shoe is 1 1/16"
not sure if the s380 or s385 is the correct part
fits an older Alpine window
I need to replace the balancers on 5 windows

Thanks for reaching out to us! I am confident in these balances as potential replacements but to be sure, I'll need to see a photo of the balance where the spring and the cord (string) are connected; around the middle/center.

Your window balance is similar to a few we have, so I'll just need to see that photo before making a concrete recommendation.

Thanks for the additional photos. Since the shoe measures more than 1", you'll need the S385-27. Your shoe likely measured 1-3/32" but has been worn down over time.

Our 2640 should work in place of yours. It will support a sash weighing 19 to 26lbs.
