26-420 is very close but not identical

Most of the measurements and appearance of this part match my broken latch except the tab on the bottom. It looks too long (3/8") to fit the small slot in our window. The other option is the 26-244. Is the only difference between these two the length of the locking tab? Which would be a match with our latch which is different from both of these?

Hi, I have the identical tilt latch as yours. Did 26-244 work for you? I would love to know your result.
