26" Series 900 Spiral Balance Product Code: S900-26

Question

Hello, I don't know the actual tip color as I was passed on this information on length of 26".  These windows are not that old and not that large.  About 26" wide.  Is it safe to go with the heavier balances (yellow tip) to cover for worst case?

Thanks for posting! To determine the exact tip color you'll need for the window, you'll have to obtain the exact weight of the window. There is a chart below the product description of the S900-26 spiral balances that will allow you to select the tip color needed based on the window weight.

I wouldn't be able to say that it is "safe" to go with the heavier balances because there is a chance that you may need the other tip colors and that it would hold too much tension for the window. The only way to know what you need is to get the window weight.
