2640 BS JL

Question

I need to replace a window balance. The chord broke, one of the bars inside is gone, and the clip has broken off. The length of the metal part is 27 inches. The metal part has the stamp 2640 BS and JL. Let me know if you need more pictures. Thanks!

Hi there! You could either have a S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You'll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need a strength option of 2640. If you have any further questions please let us know!
