I am looking for this window balance. I found s3070-27 that has 2640 as an option in the description however when I choose that item it the tip and bottom are different. Can you please assist?

Thanks for reaching out to us! The balances you have would not be able to be replaced with the standard balances in our inventory. They are an Extended-Travel Channel Balance and will need to be a custom made assembly.
I'm happy to get a quote made up for your but to confirm pricing and availability, I'll need to see a photo of the side profile of the bottom shoe. It is important to confirm the shape of the shoe so that we can ensure the replacements will be the correct ones for your window.
I'll also need to know the exact number of balances you are looking to purchase. There is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom assembly.

question, would it be more cost effective if I purchase the parts seprately without then being assembled?

I'm sorry to say that would not be an option. The parts are not sold separately due to the way the balances are assembled. Also, they aren't something that can be easily put together without a machine; especially with the amount of tension the springs hold.
We receive these custom balances fully assembled.
