A handy person from Chapin SC says:

Hello,

Trying to identify this part. The bottom of the window connects into this for opening and closing. Pic2 is the broken piece, Pic1 is the other side of said window. Right now the window will not stay open due to the breakage. Hoping you guys can help.

This looks like the wedge shoe of a Series 775 Channel Balance. I am afraid these shoes are not sold separately from the balance themselves, so if the shoe breaks the entire balance needs to be replaced. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks Bob appreciate it... I guess I will be ordering the balance.. Have a great day.

Sounds good. I should have added, if the balance is stamped 26B, you might likely need the S775-26. Then just choose a stamp option of 26B along with either a 1" size shoe or 1-1/4" size shoe, depending on how big your old balance's shoes are. Just make sure your old balance does indeed have a metal channel length of 26". Hope that helps.
