27 6 ER CALDWELL Channel Balances

I need to replace a pair of channel balances for an aluminum non-tilt single-hung window. The metal length is 28". The code stamped on the current balance is: "27 6 ER CALDWELL"

From what I can tell, it appears to most closely match the Series 351 or Series 390 on your website. The bottom shoe measures 1 1/16" across the bottom. I don't see one that exactly matches that. The 15-001 and 15-002 are just a little too wide or a little too narrow. Would you please take a look and help me determine what I need.

Please let me know what you think I need and the the cost for two replacement units.

Series is 390. Please remove the window sash and place it on a scale.
We need the weight of the window sash in pounds to determine the proper stamp option.

The sash these channel balances will support weighs approximately 23 lbs.

Please look at our series 390, option 2740 balances. The 2740 will support a sash weight of 23 lbs. Keep in mind, however, that this information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.

Thank you for your help. I have placed an order. We'll see how balances you recommended work. If they work well, I need additional balances for a different size (weight) window and will contact you again for your assistance in determining the proper balances for that window...

The balances arrived today. They fit perfectly and work like a champ. I'll be in touch again when the need arises to order more. Thanks much!
