27" Balance

Question

My balance looks worn, but appears to have a "26D" stamped on it. It's 27 inches long. Please see the photos.

Hey Jonathan. This looks like either an S380-27 or S385-27. The only difference between these two channel balances is the depth of the bottom nylon shoe, or the 'heel-to-toe' measurement. Compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. See the diagram below for reference. In either case, for a stamp option choose 2640.
