Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out! You'll need either the S351-28 with a 1" shoe or the S390-28 with a 1-1/8 shoe to replace your balances. You'll need to confirm the shoe's depth to determine which series is the correct replacement. Take a look at the diagram below for reference.

The stamp would be the same 2730 stamp you have.

Ours is a 1-1/8 inch foot.
I need to replace these in two windows, so I guess I need to order four?

Yes, that would be correct. It is advised to replace both balances in a window at the same time.

Hi Jasmine,
I placed the order but have a question. The old channel balance in one of the windows is jammed. Please see picture. Any suggestions on dealing with this? The window barely opens.

You'll need to replace the top sash guide in the window, since it is likely to be damaged. There are two video tutorials below with instructions on how to repair the jammed window and replacing the top sash guides.

I'm happy to recommend replacements for the guides, but I will need to see the front and side profile of an undamaged one to identify it.
