28" spiral balance for tilt window

Question

How do I determine whether to order series 600 or 900? My existing balances only have one "t" at each end. The tip is red.

Hello,

You would need to determine the diameter of the housing tube to choose between the (3/8") S900-28 and (5/8") S600-28 spiral balances for tilt windows. Thanks for posting.
