28" and 34" Channel Balances

A handy person from Rancho Santa Margarita California says:

Hi we recently purchased an home and I have three windows that need new balances.

The shorter 28" one is marked 2740HE

The longer 34" one is marked 3330EF

I will need two of the 28" and 4 of the 34" ones.

The 28" window has a WMP008-1CAWN CBA. 95. On the seal

The 34" windows do not a marking on the seal.

I would appreciate any help you can give me in assuring I order the correct ones

Let me know if you need more photos or info.

Thank you very much

John

Hi John. I am confident we can replace these balances for you, but I want to make sure we properly identify the top nylon fitting on each balance. Can you give me closer pictures of the top nylon fitting on each balance? From there, we should be able to quickly identify these for you. Thanks.

A handy person from Rancho Santa Margarita California says:

Hi thanks for getting back to me, sorry for my delayed reply.

Here are some more pictures of the balance let me know if you need any more.

Thank you very much

Hey there! Thanks for getting back to us. I think your balances match our Series 385 in each case. This comes with a 19-005 top and 15-004 bottom nylon fitting. I know the 19-005 top doesn't look exactly like the black top you have on your old balance, but it should still work the same way.

One thing you might want to double check is the depth of the bottom shoe. The 15-004 has a depth of 1-3/32". As long as yours is the same then you should be good to go.
