Hi
I need help identifying my bottom window channel balance. Hard to read but the info on the back looks like: 29 1 FO CALDWELL
I measured 30", excluding the plastic attachments.

Thanks for contacting SWISCO. Take a look at our S395-30, with a stamp option of 2910. Compare with your old part and see what you think.

Thank you for your help. The new channel balances fit perfect. Unfortunately, they do not hold up the window. As soon as I let go the window slowly moves back down.

Good question. You will remove the window sash and weigh it on a scale. From there, you refer back to the sash weight chart on the product page to choose the appropriate option. I hope this helps.

The window weighs 28 pounds, exactly between 2940 and 2950.

In this case, you could go with either option. Personally I would go with 2940, but you wouldn't have a problem with either option you choose.
