29 4 BS.L MH

A handy person from St. Augustine says:
Could you please help me identify the correct parts based on the stamp on the balance. The stamp is 29 4 BS.L MH

I'm not sure why this has 29 on it because when I measured it the measurements were 30' x 1/2 x 5/8 so I'm torn between 29 inch or 30 inch.

I need the numbers for all the parts in my attachments as I may just do some fixes with new top and bottom pieces or I may just order a new balance. It depends on how many windows I have.

I think I can fix most of my windows by replacing Top Sash Guide as this seems to be missing or broken on most of my sprung windows. I.E. Balance sticking out the top of the window in the track.

Lastly, all my springs and pulleys seem to be ok. May just need oiling. What would be the best oil/lubricant for these. WD-40 or aluminum silicone?

Thanks

If your stamp is 29 4, then the length of the metal channel should be 30". That's normal. Based on your pictures, it looks like your Series is similar to our Series 385 channel balance. This comes with our 19-005 and 15-004 attachments, so if you're just interested in replacing them you could use our 62-005 rivet to do so. The top sash guide also looks like our 18-166. Finally, we like a silicone spray, since it doesn't gather debris and dirt like WD-40 tends to do.
