I need 4 replacement channel balances for windows at my house. The body is 30" long and has 29 4 IP CALDWELL written on the front. The windows these come from no longer stay up. In one case one of the balances still hooks up to the frame from the string hook, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on the window staying up. The other balance has broken pulley's. The other window has 2 broken balances each with broken pulley's.
Which parts should I get to fix the windows? I'm comfortable taking the window off and back on the frame. But can't tell if the balances should attach to the window, instead of just the frame.

Good morning, and thanks for posting. Check out our 15-001 and 15-002 and tell me which is a closer match to the bottom shoe on your old window balance.

It's the 15-002. The bottom length is 1" on the dot.

Perfect. The balance you need is the S395-30 with the 2940 option.
