The balance is 30 inches (metal only) long, 9/16 inches wide. The attached pictures show the ends of the balance.

What is the right replacement part for this balance?

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're happy to look into this. Can you show us a photo of the inside of the metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism? That'd be located in the middle of the channel. Can you also measure the depth of the bottom shoe and tell us what you get?

Attached are the pictures you requested.
The depth of the shoe is 1 and 1/8th of an inch.

Thank you! Our best matches would be the S380-30 or S385-30 with the 2950 stamp option. The Series 380 has a 1" deep shoe and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" deep shoe. I'm afraid we don't have a 1-1/8" deep winged shoe so you may want to double-check that measurement just to be safe.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

OK, understood. I think I will go with S380-30
Re: the stamp option...I don't know the weight of the window. Can you please tell me why you suggest stamp option 2950? Is it like the "most common" option or is it based upon something else that you deduced from the information I provided?
Thank you!

The 2950 stamp option I recommended is based on your original 29-5 stamp option. These numbers tell us a pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 28 to 32 pounds. I hope this helps.
