29" Milgard window balance

Could you assit me in selecting the correct balance? I am looking for a 1/2" x 27" Channel balance for Milguard window. The body of the broken balance has the following code printed on it "26 5 DW CMC 10". I have attached photos of the balance. The bottom shoe is 1" wide.

I think a 27" Series 385 Channel Balance with a 2650 option might work but I would like you advice.

Thanks for posting! I just have one quick question. You say that the width of your bottom shoe is 1", but the Series 385's bottom shoe is 1-3/32". Please look at the 15-004 and look at the dimension in question. Can you confirm the width of your bottom shoe?

I remeasured the shoe and it is 1 3/32. The time I used a caliber to measure it.

In that case, I agree with you in that the S385-27 is a good match. For the stamp option, you would want to select the 2650.

Follow up - I ordered (2) S385-27 window balances and they installed perfectly. They arrived in about a 5 days and I installed them right away. My window opens and closes smoothly now. The block and tackle design is superior to the milguard originals. I am considering buying additional balances just to get better performance on my other window. Great Company and staff!
