29" channel balance

Old part says "2830"
Swisco search for that part number pulls up many different 29" channel balances.
Parts 380, 385, 390 & 395 appear to all look like what I have. What is the difference between them?

Says 2830 on the side.

Thanks for posting. I am confident we can help replace this channel balance, but that stamp is not an identifier; it just tells us the balance's strength. Please remove the balance from the window and show us photos of the attachments on both ends. We'll do our best to help from there.

Thanks for the photos. What distinguishes different balance Series are the nylon attachments on both ends. The ones on the balance you took pictures of look pretty damaged. Is there an undamaged balance we can see, either from the other side of this window or from an identical window in the house? If so, can you send us clear photos of the attachments on both ends? That will narrow it down.

Perfect, thanks. Looks like the top fitting has 'wings' but the bottom lacks them. In that case, you need the S395-29. For a stamp choose 2830.
