2900 balancer

Question

I purchased a house that was built in 1999. Don't know a name brand of the windows. One of the window balance channel's has come apart. This balance has the number 2900 and letters B S I stamped in it. I think the 2900 means 29 inches long like mine. It has a pulley and sting system. The part that slides in the track is like a C unit. I might be able to change over to the block style if the replacement will allow. I can fix it if I can get the correct parts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Can we see a photo of this balance situation? It's unlikely that you would be able to repair a balance, so we'd like to take a look and make a judgment ourselves. We'll need to see both end attachments on the balance.
