I'm a little confused on which 30" Series 380 Channel Balance to use, 2940 or 2950. My window weigHits 27 lb. Please advise.

If your sash weighs 27 pounds, then I'd go with the 2940 option. This can carry a sash weight of 23 through 28 pounds. The 2850 option carries 28 through 32 pounds, which would be too strong.
