Can't seem to find this part anywhere. I believe all of my hurricane windows have this same channel balance. They are only 6 years old. One has had the inside chord break. The part number stamped on it is "2965 BSI EP" for a 30 inch 65 pound replacement.
Do you carry these or are they a custom build for the window manufacturer?

Hello! we can supply this balance, but it has to be a custom order due to its configuration. I just need you to clear up a few details.
First, can you show me a picture of the metal hook that was at the end of the cord? Yours appears to be missing but it is an essential detail.
Next, can you verify the length of the metal channel and the weight of the sash? Based on your stamp, your metal channel should be only 29-7/8" long. I also don't think 65 pounds is correct; a stamp of 2965 is rated to only carry 35 through 39 pounds. 65 pounds would be extraordinarily heavy, more for a commercial application than a residential home.
Finally, how many of these balances did you need?
