30 inch window channel balance

I need to replace several 30 inch window balances. 5/8" wide, 5/8 " deep. Plastic ends are broken per photos. I believe your 30" series 385 channel balance, prod code S385-30 will work for me. Am I correct?

Do you need overall window measurements?

Hey, Loleita. It really depends. What is the size of the nylon shoe? Your balance looks closer to our S380-30 to me, but it's hard to judge the size of the shoe just from pictures. You will need to measure it to determine which Series is a better match.

Hi Donna, I agree with you. In checking measurements of the shoe, it matches up with your 15-005. Only discrepancy is instead of 1" depth, this measures 15/16. Other measurements match exactly. I cannot tell more about the top piece as both are broken. I will put an order in for two of these, and if they work, will order the balance.

If the depth of the shoe is 15/16" then I think it's safe to assume that it has simply worn down a little from age. If you have any other questions, let me know!

Thanks Donna, I have ordered two balances to fix one window. Once I know that works, I'll order enough to fix the other windows.
