30 year old sliding screen on patio door. Wheels are fine, but plastic posts, the axels, are no longer round, flat sided and wheels cannot turn in a circle, bind everywhere. I have no idea how to get the plasic post, knobby thing, to engage with whatever remains inside the door also. thanks for any help, I am in Toronto Canada.

This looks somewhat like our 84-152 roller/corner unit. Could this be what you need? You mention hardware that remains in your door. That's probably the corner, which is an important part of this kind of roller. I recommend removing the old corner to make sure our 85-152 matches up.
