We definitely can help you locate the proper replacement balances from the window. To get this started, you will need to remove the balance from the window. Next, upload some additional photos of showing the complete balance. We believe the metal length portion of your balance is 31", but we'd like for you to confirm that for us. Once we have everything we need for you, we can reply back with our suggestions.

A home owner from Venice Florida says:
Thank you for the response. Yes it is 31" long. Attached are additional photos. Please let me know if you need others.

Great, thank you! I believe you have either our S380-31 or S385-31, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That measurement is the only difference between them. Look them over and see what you think.

A home owner from Venice Florida says:
3/32 difference on the shoe kinda difficult to determine that little of a difference. Do I need to add the .75 3050 add on?

I know it's only a subtle difference, but it's the only way to know what you have. Make sure to account for wear; what I mean by that is, the depth of your shoe may be a little less than what it once was.

If your original stamp read 3050 then that's what you want to choose, yes. This indicates the calibration of the spring. If you look at the chart we have on those store pages, you'll see two balances with a 3050 stamp can hold 28 through 32 pounds. You can always weigh your sash to be sure that this is right. If it is, then you don't want to go lighter or heavier or else your sash won't open and close properly.
