3/16 x 7/16 wool pile

Quick Learner from connecticut
This house has certianteed windows that are likely 15+ years old. Pretty good shape and easy to clean. The wool pile is worn. Seems to be very hard to remove and not sure how easy the new stuff will go in. 15 windows is a lot of work. I think?

Any tricks? Thanks Ron

Hey, Ron. It varies from window to window. In most cases the wool pile can just be slid out from the end. On other windows, you'll find the channel that accepts the wool pile is sealed in on the ends, which is more uncommon and more difficult to deal with. You would need to cut the old wool pile out and then work the new wool pile in with a putty knife.
