32-012 Rear Drawer Track Socket Pair

Question

Is there an easier method other than brute force to remove the socket piece from a new 32-012 assembly and install it in the serviceable mount piece?

To remove the track rail guide, stick a flat-head screwdriver between the guide and the base (at the bottom) and turn the screwdriver to release the track guide. It's not effortless, but it shouldn't require a brutish amount of force, either. I hope that helps.
