32 1/8" long Peachtree Balance Needed...

A home owner from ILLINOIS says:

I need assistance with a 32 1/8" long Peachtree Balance replacement.

The window sash weighs about 22 lbs.
If weighed without balances it was about 20 lbs.

(It is for a sash that is: 27 1/2" wide x 32 1/8" long.

It says 3072 1 LK Caldwell on it. This is different than my other part inquiry. Thanks.

To replace your original balance, order the S745-32 and choose stamp "31.25-4". However, this will replace a "3072" stamp for 24 to 28 pound sashes. If your sash is 20 pounds, you will want a lower option. Did you find that it was hard to close the window before, when your "3072" balance was still functioning? I'm wondering if your balance was too strong originally.

I thought that might be the case. For a 20 pound sash, I recommend the S745-32 with 31.25-3 option. That's for sashes weighing 17 through 23 pounds.
