32" and a 26" no-tilt window balancers

Home Owner from Fremont, CA
Hi,
I need to replace balancers on 8 windows. All are non-tilt. 5 need 32" balancers and 3 need 26" balancers. Attached are the pics for the 32".
Stamping on 32" long balancer : 31 9 HS Caldwell
Stamping on 26" long balancer : 25 9 ES Caldwell
Both have winged bottom guide of 1-3/32" depth and 1/2" width. Top guide is winged too.
Weight of taller (32") window : 32.4 lbs.
Weight of shorter (26") window : 27.8 lbs.
I think the taller one needs S385-32/3160 and the shorter one needs S385-26/2550 part, even though the stamping is for the highest weight category. Please confirm.

Thanks,
Anil

Hello! I agree, if your shoe depth is 1-3/32" then the Series 385 is what you want in each case.

As for the stamp options, yours use an older, different calibration system than our more modern parts. You need to weigh your sash on a scale and pick the appropriate weight in each case. You can reference the chart on both the S385-32 and S385-26 store pages.

If your sash weight exceeds those options we have available, let me know and we can work from there.

Thanks Tom!
The Sash weights I had listed were measured on a scale. Could you please confirm I have chosen the right options (3160 and 2550) for each?

I'm very sorry, I don't know how I missed those weights. Your picks are correct: for a 32.4 pound sash on a 32" long balance, you can use the 3160 option. For the 27.8 pound sash for a 26" long balance, you can use the 2550.
