Questions:
1) Do I need to replace balances on both sides of the window?
2) Please recommend any lubricant to use on the balances.

See our S395-33. You will need a stamp option of 3240. We generally recommend replacing both balances in a window when replacing one, as usually when one balance fails the other is not far behind. We recommend using a silicone spray to lubricate the balance and window track.
