Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we'll need a bit more information to narrow down your options. If you could show us the connecting point between the spring and pulley inside the metal channel, that would help us confirm if our stock balances could work for your repair or if they would need to be special ordered. Thank you!

Ok I have attached the photos , let me know if you need better ones

Also, I need to replace 4 sets.

The windows are exactly the same, 4 windows. So I need 8 balancers

One of the windows had different stamping
(32-5 AA CMC 11)

As opposed to the other ones having 32-4 BA CMC 11

Could you explain What the stamp means as well? And why AA or BA, or 32-4 or 32-5?

Thanks for getting back to us! With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S380-33 or S385-33 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

The 32-4 stamp would correspond to our 3240 spring strength option, which supports a sash between 23-28 lbs. 32-5 would be 3250, which will support between 28-32 lbs as stated in the chart under ur balance product descriptions. If you have any doubts about the original stamp codes being correct, we recommend weighing your sashes to confirm which weight range they fall within. Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Hello, yes I measured the bottom piece and it's close to the 1 3/32. Not exactly that but really close

And I just weighed my window and it's 27.7 pounds.

If all of the windows have the same sash weight, then you would need the S385-33 (3240) replacements.

I also just noticed one of the plastic pieces inside the window rail is broken, I also need that piece. Do you happen to know what I need?

And to add onto the last comment I made. The window is 27.5lbs~
It's really close to 28, is it better to get 32-5? Or the 32-4

The bottom bracket on the balancer. Is close to 1 3/32

Your top sash guide is similar to the 18-188. Review the dimensions below to confirm it's a match.

It is important for the balances to be calibrated to support the exact weight of the sash. If it weighs exactly 27/7 pounds, you'll need 3240 strength options. It is also common for the shoe to wear down a bit over time, so I wouldn't worry as long as it measures over 1" deep.

Ok Thank you so much!

So I looked over the top sash and the measurements are almost exact a few mm off but looks really really close

And as for the windows, the window that is 32-5 weighs 27.7 lbs

The other 3 windows with the balancers of 32-4 weigh 22lbs~ 21.8-22lbs

I just weighed all of them and the other 3 windows all have 32-4 as well.

The weight of your lighter windows would be supported by 3230 strength options, which support between 18-23 lbs.
