I think we can replace this balance, but I cannot tell what you have from these photos. Can you show me a picture of the shoe, hook, or clip at the bottom of the balance? It might be at the end of the cord, but I don't know for sure. That's why I need to see it. Once I do, I'm confident I can identify what you need.

I'm afraid these photos don't show us anything new. This balance is just too damaged to identify. If you have an undamaged balance available, we'll have to see that. There has to be a shoe or clip or something at the bottom, or at the end of the cord at the bottom, that connects the balance to the sash. 

We're definitely getting closer. I can see the part there in these new photos, but it's too obscured while installed. The sash is covering it up almost entirely and I cannot be sure what it is. Would you be able to remove that part so we can see it more clearly?
