35 year old small wood single hung window

Question

Need to replace the spring pieces that hold the window in place.  See photo.  Do you have this?

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380 or S385 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

When measuring the length of the balance, only measure the metal channel excluding the nylon attachments. The balance shown have a number stamped on the balance that indicates the spring strength option needed.

If there are no markings, you will need to weigh the window sash and compare to the strength chart on balance length series product page.
