Is there a recommended weight limit or sash size limit to these?

Thanks for writing in! The maximum weight capacity for the 36-028HD 24" Four Bar Hinge is 92.5lbs (42kg). You'll also want to be sure that the dimensions from the hinge match your existing hinges. Especially the length of the sill track.
