Hello, thank you for posting,
If the kerf distance of the 58-189 is shorter than your original, take a look at the 58-186. This sweep fits doors that are 1-3/4" thick. The sweep wraps around the bottom of the door and installs on one side using screws. Take a look to see what you think and let us know if you have any additional questions!
