37 in channel balance, clip sash guide, take out clip

A quick learner from Marco Island Fl says:

I have removed the channel balance but was never able to remove the window.

I will need 2 37" channel balances, it has the number 3635 on it.

While trying to remove the window the takeout clip broke. Will need 2 of them. Also need10 sash guides. I believe this was the original problem. Because I could not get the window out ended having to replace the channel balance, which I bent and the take-out clip bent also asI tried to remove the window.

Any tips on removing the window would be appreciated. Had a handyman here yesterday and $30 later hr couldn't remove it

Hi there- thanks for posting!

You only show the bottom balance shoe, what is it's depth? Could you also send a picture of the top fitting on the balance and the spring code number on the channel. We will also need to see the top sash guide. I have attached a media guide video to help you.

Thanks for getting back to us. We don't have any shoes with a 3/4" depth. The smallest we have is 1" for our Series 380. I think this can work for you, and if the shoe ends up being too deep you can always shave it down a little if necessary.

Your stamp is very weird, though. I've never seen anything like that before. I recommend weighing your sash on a scale to get the exact weight, if possible. We have a chart on the S380-37 store page that tells you exactly how much weight each of our stamp options can carry.

You also mentioned in your first post that you couldn't remove your sash because the take out clips broke. You could temporarily install a screw that sticks out a little to work as a take out clip. Once the sash is out, you can then just take the screw out.
