What screws work with the 38-036 lock?

Home Owner from New York
Hi, I purchased 4 of these to replace my old broken locks. They seem to be a very good fit but I don't know how to screw them in because they don't have the threads in the holes like the old ones. Please advise me on what I need to do. Thank You!

Hello! The 38-036 lock is designed with unthreaded holes. With that in mind, we suggest using a #8 self tapping screw. Something like our 33-072 should suffice, though you should check the length of the original to ensure that you're getting the right size.
