Series 385 or 380?

Quick Learner from Los Angeles, CA
Hi,

I believe I have either 385 or 380, however I'm not sure which. The bottom shoe looks like it's just a tad over 1" so I'm leaning towards the 385.

Also, it's 33" and the stamping says 32-9 IX CMC 11, can you recommend the correct weight option to pick?

Thanks!

Good question. It's not always reliable going off pictures of measuring tape; however, if the depth or heel-to-toe measurement of the shoe is at all greater than 1", then it's safe to assume this is a Series 385. Even if the depth isn't quite 1-3/32", sometimes these shoes wear down from age, and so ultimately the deciding factor is whether or not the depth is greater or lesser than 1". If it's more than 1", it's the Series 385. See the image below for further reference.

The stamp code 32-9 is from an older rating system that is no longer made. We advise that you weigh your window sash. Match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option on the balance shop page.
