39-025

Question

I bought the Swisco 39-025 but my contractor says it won't work. Something about the offset. What do you think?

Looking at the offset gear arm, they don't look that far off. The 39-025 has a longer link arm, but that also does not look too far off in length. The play in the linkage of the window should make up the difference. I believe you could have an older style Silverline operator which was replaced with the 39-025 but I'm not sure of the issue regarding the offset. This would be our best option. Could you be a little more specific as to why your contractor thinks the offset would make this operator not work?
