39" CHANNEL BALANCE

Hi there, I'm looking for a couple of channel balance replacements for my up/down sliding windows. I know my balance is 39", but not sure how to identify the weight range? Also, by looking at the attachments, can you confirm the 39" series 385 channel balance (S385-39)is what I should be purchasing? Please advise. Thank you, Kevin

The Series 385 looks close, but you need to measure your sure to ensure that it's 1-3/32" deep. The other option is the Series 380, which has a shoe that's 1" deep. That's not something we can eyeball in a photo, unfortunately.

As for the weight option, you need to use your old stamp as a reference. If you have no stamp on your balance, then you need to weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the chart shown on the S385-39 store page.
