390 balance weight stamp help required

A handy person from New Jersey says:

We have determined we need the 390 balance for our non tilt aluminum windows.

24" metal length

Current (old) stamp says 2420 and there is only one sash balance in the windows and I guess we want to stick with single balance.

(Not sure of exact window weight)

Which stamp should be buy for the 390 balance to replace the one marked 2420?

We also have a smaller window marked 1510, what would be the 390 15" replacement stamp weight for this?

Thanks

Thanks

Hello,

A balance stamped 2420 would normally have a 25" long metal channel. The 1510 balance should measure 16" in length. Double-check and if this checks out, you'll see the corresponding stamp options on the balance product pages.

Also, keep in mind that there should be two balances in each window, one on the left and one on the right of the sash. Thank you!
