Question

The instructions read to hook the closer rod onto the bracket, how is it done?, just using the shorter pin? It is not clear in the instructions. Thanks

Yes, the 40-006 comes with a type of cotter pin that goes into the end of the closer rod. After the closer is installed, use a flat blade screwdriver to bend the legs on the pin to hold in place. Hopefully, this helps shed some light on the installation process. Thanks for posting!
