The 1 3/4" good mine is 6 1/2" centerline to center line and not 5 1/2".... suggestions?....

I'm not sure if your handle is still available, unfortunately. You might need to install a screw to close up that bottom hole in the door, but I think we can still offer a substitute for this. Take a look at the handles suggested on the right-hand side of the page to see if any of these would be a better fit.
