40-079 Replacing Storm King 440

A quick learner from broward county florida says:
September 1, 2018
Have a storm king 440 on garage door
it made a loud bang last night on the part attached to
the jamboff frame and the box is slightly open
can it be repaired ? how ? any manuals ?

Hi there- thanks for posting! 

I'm afraid we have no direct replacement for the old Storm King 440 closer, but some customers in the past have been able to use our 40-079 as a substitute. Look it over and see what you think.
