40-165 Storm Door hinge repair kit

Just wanted to share my experience.Have a Storm door, well over 40 years old, upper hinge pins broke. Looked all over and called several storm door companies,all told me that nothing is available to repair it ,only options are to try and find a replacement Zbar hinge or replace entire door.
Found this online and figured for the money it's worth a shot.
Arrived on time as promised.My hinge was broken for so long that it got distorted.I had to take a file and drill bit and hone it out so plastic pins and bushings would fit, also had to cut about an 1/8 inch off the spring to make it all fit .Works great now.
Took a little bit of time to adapt the hinge for parts to fit but its beats the heck out of buying a new door.
