40-177 and 40-130 on a 3/4" thick door

Question

Will these locks work on a 3/4" door? The description indicates minimum of 1" door thickness.

" Take a look at either our 40-130 or 40-177 handle set. See which one would be best for your door."

Our handle sets may still work for a door that skinny, but there are a couple issues that may arise. The first is that the screws will be too long, so you'll have to reuse your originals. The second is that the spindle for the key and handle will also be too long, so you will need to find a way to cut them down. If you can do those two things, then I think they're still worth considering.
