What is the measurement from the top of one latch hole to the top of the other latch hole? How long and wide are the latch holes? Is this item available in bright brass finish?

Here are you measurements. From the top of one latch hole to the top of the other latch hole is 2-5/8". The width of latch hole is 9/16" and height is 2-1/2". At this time it only comes in white.
