4636 Bethany Ct Channel Balances

Question

I have 6 non-tilt windows that operate with great difficulty.  In two of the windows, the channel balance remains visible on one side when the window is closed, extending above the window by 20" or so.  I've attached photos.  The balances are 1/2' wide by 27-1/16 inches long. I've weighed one of the six which comes in at 22.25 lbs.  Can you suggest a replacement balance?  Would this solve the "works with great difficulty issue"?

Thanks for posting. See the S380-27 or S385-27 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two balances is the shoe depth. See below. For a stamp option choose 2640.
