4"x" Thumb lock for Anderson Sliding door

Question

The latch handle on my Anderson sliding door keeps coming loose --the internal spring washer seem to be worn out and wont hold the latch securely. The exterior dimension of the latch plate is 4 inches  long by 1 1/4 inch wide . I could not locate a part number on the interior of the lock--just your company name and phone number. I would like to get a replacement on brass to match what I have. Thank you. John Fini

Thanks for contacting us. That's actually not our company information. This is an Andersen brand door, while we don't actually make doors. We do supply Andersen hardware, though.

Your exact handle is no longer made, but I've known customers to use our 88-013 and 88-014 pulls to replace it. The thumb latch would be our 82-241, or 82-043 if you wanted a modern replacement. Look these parts over and see what you think.
